Ask HN: What GUI/desktop app do you use to keep track of different AI sessions?

What GUI apps do you use to manage different AI sessions? Command line (on Claude Code etc) is great but it is so hard to keep track of different sessions. I've tried the official apps (like Codex or Claude desktop), is there anything that is better?

You could try the Nimbalyst app. It features a visual Kanban board for parallel sessions, visual editors, and it is also an iOS companion app. This is my suggestion if you are looking for a straightforward GUI focused on single-session chats. I don't know if it offers the full features you are looking for, but you could always do a search on it to be sure.

I’m using superset.sh.

for me the ui matters less than clear owner, status, and last verified fact per session. otherwise it turns into a pile of half-true notes pretty fast.

I recently came across Omnigent which I guess is trying to solve this problem - a lot of others to in the market.

Yep. I think there are so many new apps, when I run a `npx skills add ...` , the list of what tools (like claude code, open code, etc) to install skills in is getting larger every time I use it. I will check it out though.
